Red Phoenix Flower Festival 2024 — PIXELHUE Powers Vietnam’s Grand Cultural Celebration
Red Phoenix Flower Festival 2024 — PIXELHUE Powers Vietnam’s Grand Cultural Celebration
A massive outdoor festival. A complex multi-screen stage. Q8’s first debut in Vietnam — and a strong one.
⸻
A Cultural Spectacle That Demands Technical Confidence
The Red Phoenix Flower Festival is one of Hải Phòng’s largest annual cultural celebrations — a showcase of Vietnamese heritage, large-scale performances, and a stage filled with dancers, musicians, and elaborate scenic elements. For the 2024 edition, the event introduced an expanded LED setup with multiple oversized displays, curved scenic structures, and real-time content playback that had to remain perfectly synchronized across every surface.
The client had been using PIXELHUE’s P-series products in the past and approached this show with a new objective:
more interfaces, more compatibility, more processing headroom — and a desire to finally experience the Q8 in a real production.
This became the first deployment of the Q8 in Vietnam.
⸻
A Large LED Architecture, Driven by PIXELHUE
With several giant LED screens forming the centerpiece of the stage, each showing high-density cultural visuals and choreographed graphics, the festival was the perfect environment to test Q8’s multi-input architecture and real-world stability.
The U5 played a key role in this production — not as a switcher, but as a Pixelflow configuration station, mapping layers and arranging screen layouts with precision. Without the need for constant live switching, the U5 became the control hub for setup, alignment, and visual routing, ensuring the stage canvas behaved exactly as the creative team intended.
This workflow demonstrated that PIXELHUE systems are not only strong on stage — but powerful and efficient during pre-production and technical preparation, where reliability and speed often matter even more.
⸻
Real-World Compatibility Testing — And a Clear Win
One of the client’s biggest concerns coming into the project was interface compatibility — particularly with a large mix of third-party hardware and legacy signal paths from previous years’ productions.
The Q8 handled the challenge decisively.
All incoming sources — media servers, cameras, playback systems, and control signals — were recognized and routed without issue. The system delivered stable output across the entire festival timeline, from rehearsals to the final performance night.
The technical team gave highly positive feedback on Q8’s functionality and processing stability, noting that despite being their first time using it, the system felt intuitive and dependable, even under the pressure of a festival-scale event.
⸻
A First Use That Becomes a Foundation
By the end of the festival, the client expressed strong satisfaction with how Q8 managed the complex interface demands and large-format LED structure. For them, this event wasn’t just another job — it was a technical reassurance.
A confirmation that PIXELHUE’s high-end products are ready for the largest cultural programs in Vietnam and can integrate smoothly with existing workflows and third-party systems.
This first deployment sets the stage for deeper PIXELHUE adoption in the region’s expanding event market.

Closing — A Strong Debut in Vietnam’s Large-Scale Festival Scene
From cultural storytelling to massive LED visuals, the Red Phoenix Flower Festival showcased both Vietnam’s artistic energy and PIXELHUE’s technical strength. With Q8 delivering stable performance on its first-ever appearance in the country, and U5 assisting the entire Pixelflow setup, PIXELHUE once again demonstrated what it means to be built for demanding stages.
Born to lead — in every country, every culture, and every show that needs power and precision.
